General Rules

Home

  1. Games to commence 8pm
  2. Captains/whole team all do not have to be present for match to start but at least two players must be present by 8.10pm ,  play must be continuous
  3. First game can be claimed at 8.15pm but committee must be notified first
  4. If a player is not present reserves can be named if signed on and their on the match card
  5. Reserves to be played in order ,five can be named
  6. Card to be completed by 8.15pm
  7. Home and away team to complete a match card (one card per team)
  8. Cards to be handed in within two weeks
  9. Failure to hand card in, may result in loss of points
  10. Cards can be handed into the Plough , the Unicorn or the Red Lion
  11. Only signed on players to play in this league
  12. No limit of players that can be signed on
  13. Teams signing new players/tranfers must make their request to committee
  14. New signings and transfers can not play for two (2) games from date of signing/transfer
  15. Players must be signed to a team to be eligible to enter singles and doubles
  16. Singles are be played on set date
  17. Players can play their singles match early if approved by the committee
  18. Players can not cancel a singles match on the match day  
  19. Doubles must be played by the date set
  20. Doubles must consist of two players from same team
  21. (Doubles)Home team has choice of venue
  22. (Doubles)Home team must provide three (3) dates to play fixture
  23. No games to be cancelled on the day of game ,
  24. 24 hours notice must be given for a cancellation, Failure to do so may result in loss of points
  25. The committee and opposition captain both must be notified of cancellation
  26. Any matches that need to be re-arranged must be done through the committee
  27. Re-arranged games to take place at stated venue and within two weeks of original date
  28. The breaking player has choice of setting the balls
  29. Balls are racked starting with red ball 
  30. Match consists of four singles and one doubles
  31. Scoring, one point per game
  32. Visiting team referee the games , Cup games (alternate referee) between both teams
  33. Captains of the teams in the semi finals to pick venues for semi finals and finals
  34. Division 2 champions will be promoted, with the runners up promotion will be optional
  35. In the case of a new team joining the league the committee has choice over which league they start 
  36. Committee should be notified of any problems
  37. The committee has final decision on all matters
